After eight years of marital bliss, Steve Martin and Victoria Tennant divorced in Los Angeles at an amicable settlement. Tennant allegedly filed for the separation citing irreconcilable differences. The relationship was becoming stale after a few years and communication was very hard to get by. She described living with Martin as “interesting” since he spent most of his time buying gadgets and art.
