Data about Kirstie Alley and Parker Stevenson from Divorce Records

Kirstie Alley and Parker Stevenson's marriage lasted for a good 13 years before Alley finally filed a divorce in 1997 citing irreconcilable differences. During their marriage, they adopted two children, William True and Lillie Price and Alley had a miscarriage and stillbirth. Alley's loss of her two babies put a great strain on her which resulted to lack of communication with her husband as well as occasional mood swings.

Alley owned a California mansion and a ranch in Maine and Kansas. The couple also had two yachts and a number of expensive cars which were bound to be shared between them at the time of divorce. Stevenson asked for joint custody over their two children as well as spousal support at $75,000 a month alimony reaching a total settlement of $6,000,000.

Joint custody was granted by the court. At the time of their separation, William True was only 4 years old while Lillie Price was 2. Their separation was announced publicly during the fall of 1996.
