Basinger and Alec Baldwin officially divorced in Los Angeles. Today,
they share legal custody over their daughter, Ireland Eliesse. After a
lot of controversies regarding the settlement, it seems that they
finally found peace in their own separate ways.

that Basinger will have custody over Ireland and Baldwin will share in
legal custody as well as have visitation rights.
However, Baldwin kept on complaining that Basinger allegedly alienates
his daughter from him, which spurred him to take more legal actions for
custody. In 2007, he recently left his daughter a disturbing voicemail,
which again fanned the flames in the divorce records. Basinger's
parents joined in to fight back the anguish presented falsely by
Baldwin. It seems that up to now, the Basinger-Baldwin case is not as
closed as it should be. The divorce was Basinger's second and Baldwin's
first.
