Schelske and Sara Evans divorced in Tennessee after reaching a
settlement of over $600,000. Today, Schelske is listed as being the
Executive Director for the group American Destiny, which is devoted to
assisting Americans in uncovering their spiritual roots. He is also the
chair of CRAIG PAC, a political action committee geared toward electing
Republicans to state and federal posts. Evans meanwhile, is slated to
host the LeAnn Rimes 41st annual CMA Awards sometime November.
Divorce records revealed that Craig Schelske's
divorce from award-winning pop country singer-songwriter Sara Evans was
finalized on September 28, 2007. Schelske is best known as a musician,
nonprofit organization exec and a Republican politician. He ran for
Congress in 2002, representing the fifth district of Oregon. Evans
started competed in the third season of ABC's Dancing with the Stars
with professional partner Tony Dovolani. She later dropped out to give
her family her undivided attention.

reasons for filing divorce proceedings on October 12, 2006. A look at

irreconcilable differences, adultery with the pair's former nanny

divorce records filed, Evans requested for the issuance of a temporary
restraining order against Schelske.
Schelske's and Evan's split was marked by accusations of adultery on

Evans, 36, filed the divorce records papers in Franklin state court, a
suburb in Nashville where the singer and Schelske, 44, resided. The two
tied the knot on September 25, 1993 in Evans' hometown of Boonesboro,

The two have three children between them: Avery Jack Lyons who's 8,
Olivia Margaret who's 4 and Audrey Elizabeth who's 3, information from

while Schelske would be allowed to visit them.
Schelske and Evans met back in 1991 in Nashville, Tennessee while the
two were waiting tables at Briley Parkway Holiday Inn. They began
