California after reaching a settlement of nearly $9 million. Today,
Applegate is set to return to the small screen via a new ABC comedy,
“Samantha Who?” Schaech last appeared in the movies
“Nora Roberts’ Angels Fall” in 2007 and
“Suzanne’s Diary for Nicholas” in 2005.

Superior Court of Los Angeles on August 10, 2007, according to court

comedy “Married….With Children” and the movie

for a Tony for her Broadway performance in “Sweet Charity.”
Schaech is an American actor, director, writer and producer. Among
Schaech’s more popular acting credits are the 1996 hit film
“That Thing You Do!” and the 2005 flick “Sea of
Dreams.” His movie and television career dates back to 1993.

Schaech got married in October of 2001 in a mixed-faith ceremony in the
state of California. Their decision to separate took place sometime in
November of 2005. The 37-year-old Schaech filed for divorce on December
5, 2006 in Los Angeles Superior Court, public divorce records showed.
The couple officially separated a year and a half after Schaech filed
for divorce proceedings.
The couple cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their
divorce. Court divorce records revealed that the couple encountered few
problems when it came time to split up their mutual assets. The same
marriage divorce records revealed that both parties waived their rights
to obtain spousal support.
All in all, the two were able to settle their divorce in a peaceful
manner. Applegate is worth roughly $6 million while Schaech is worth
around $2 million. However, the pair did not battle over properties or
money. The public divorce records judgment saw Schaech being awarded
with more than $1.5 million in bank accounts that dated back to last
February along with a cement Buddha and a 2001 Mercedes Benz S500.

35-year-old Applegate got the investments, pensions and bank accounts,
priced at more than $7.5 million. The actress also got a 2006 Lexus as
well as two of the un-couple’s Los Angeles homes as part of the
settlement contained in the divorce records. Other information included
in divorce records for the ex-couple indicated that the bank accounts
awarded to Applegate dated as far back as late December of 2006.
With Christina Applegate and Johnathon Schaech having called it quits,
they are once again free to explore the dating scene – and
possibly give marriage another stab. According to divorce records, the
short-lived union of Christina Applegate and Johnathon Schaech did not
produce any children.
