A judge in Orange County granted Houston’s petition for divorce on April 4, 2007, divorce records for the couple showed. Public divorce records list Franz Miller as the judge who presided over the case. In the hearing that lasted all of 10 minutes, Miller ruled that the divorce would become final on the 24th of April.

Brown’s and Houston’s marriage of 14 years produced a daughter, Bobbi Kristina.
