In May 2004, Ali Landry and Mario Lopez divorced in Los Angeles. At present, Landry is busy hosting shows, doing movies as well as taking care of her daughter and husband, Alejandro Gomez Monteverde. Just seven weeks after their wedding, Landry filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court citing irreconcilable differences. Lopez reportedly already had extramarital affairs during their seven-week marriage not to mention the controversial bachelor party he had in which he reportedly had sexual relations with a 20-year old. The alleged infidelities spurred Landry to finally get rid of her playboy husband. In public divorce records, Lopez's affairs were already widely known among their peers and Landry thought that she would see dynamic changes once they walk down the aisle. Apparently, she thought wrong.

Landry stated that she was fully into the marriage at the time but she realized that she can no longer trust Lopez who was constantly reported to be seen with another woman.
